Hello everyone out there, I hope you are doing well! I have exciting updates!

So, after long consideration, we've narrowed down my national costume to three different options, posted below. I am curious about everyone's thoughts, I love them all! My family has been in Sweden for centuries, so for me, it is an honor to represent my country with pride in an innovative, fashionable, exciting way that fits with what Miss Universe likes and waves the Swedish flag high with pride! I also want people to know that I am taking this as seriously as possible, so from start to finish, it needs to be 1000000000%, wouldn't you agree?

Another beautiful day in NYC, except today without rain. I went to the Camuto showroom and met with Peggy and Sarah, unfortunately Louise Camuto was with family in The Hamptons, however she called me to give me some support and advice and was really encouraging, it was great. I am so blessed to have all of the help that I have... And I'm so excited about my wardrobe for Brazil! I have so many more clothes than I could have ever dreamed of, it's amazing, and all gifts from a former Miss Universe Sweden, the highest placing delegate since Yvonne Ryding in 1984....

Later in the day, I had the pleasure of meeting designer Maggie Norris, who has dressed Audrey Hepburn, Amy Adams, Nicole Kidman, Christie Brinkley, Michelle Obama, and now me!

Louise and I have plans to try and meet before I depart for Brazil, but I am so greatful for all of the help I've received in New York so far from all of the different designers... Thank you!

Today was of course amazing, it's so rare that one gets to meet one of Brazil's supermodels! She was so beautiful in person and taught me how to say "thank you" in Brazilian - "abrigato" ! She wished me good luck in Brazil too!

We don't have Victoria's Secret in Sweden, so it was a real treat...

Costume possibility... It looks better in person, the outfit was wrapped up in plastic, so ignore that, but the white crown around the neck is actually worn on the head. It's supposed to be a snow queen, ice princess, viking, snow fairy...

After all of the excitement, I had dinner with Kathryn Harvey at Aria in the West Village, she is the marketing director of Sesame Street! Maybe someday you will see me on TV with Elmo or Cookie Monster, one can only dream.

Hejsan!

Today has been equally as busy yesterday, I was on the phone with Michelle Holmes for a little while going over some basic things before I passed out... I woke up with the sun and the birdies this morning and jogged for 45 minutes through Central Park, New York is so beautiful, I love this city, it has a definite heartbeat!

I miss my family and friends back in Sweden, but I'm meeting so many new people at the same time, it's great. I just got the itinerary for Miss Universe... I can't wait for all of the events, I've never been to Brazil, so this is exciting!!!

Hej friends!

I have had such an amazing day here in New York! First I met with the amazing Rolando Santana and his beautiful assistant Amanda who helped outfit some of my wardrobe during Miss Universe. Rolando was in the midst of creating a unique piece for current Miss Universe 2010, Ximena to wear in Brazil! I was so lucky... I also met with another designer, Alex Teih, his speciality is glamorous evening gowns and bridal, his pieces were absolutely amazing, and I would post pictures, but I have an upcoming editorial with fashion photorapher Yvonne Taylor (yvonnetaylorphoto.com) and stylist Lauretta McCoy, so I don't want to spoil anything. I feel really prepared for Miss Universe! Tomorrow I am spending the day with one of Venezuela's top walking coaches, I've been told that no matter where I am or where I go I should feel like a "queen" or act as if the "crown is already on my head", winning Miss Sweden was truly a blessing and everyday I learn a million more things about myself and the world around me I never expected. I hope you guys enjoy the pictures! Also if people are wondering why I switched to English, it's because I wanted to reach a wider audience, now that I have much more to blog about!

Please keep in mind I had just gotten off the plane from Stockholm without any sleep in over 36 hours...

After a twelve hour flight and close to two days without sleep, I'm still dedicated to get things going!
