Time to reveal the new Evening Gown, exclusively designed by Aviad Arik Herman
for Miss Universe Sweden 2015 Paulina Brodd, for the upcoming Miss Universe pageant on december 20th in Las Vegas - USA.

Miss Universe Sweden Paulina Brodd´s Unique Evening Gown is inspired by the famous traditional Swedish embroidery from Dalarna. Hand painted by Swedish artist Zacharias Eric Vindbacke & Björn Olsson.

Maria Taipaleenmäki will represent Sweden in the upcoming Miss Earth pageant in Vienna on December 5th, wearing the National Costume inspired by Lucia - to bring the urgent message and stand for Light & Hope, especially on such dark days like we are experiencing around the world - with so much violence, hate, corruption, crime, terror, war, discrimination, inequality, injustice, sorrow & pain.

For Centuries, the winter-light festival, Lucia, has been celebrated on December 13th, the darkest time of the year. Lucia comes to the world to enlighten and spread out compassion amongst human beings.
I wish it would inspire people to choose light over darkness, to choose love & compassion, over hate & violence.

Proud to present my new National Costume design for Miss Universe Sweden 2015, Paulina Brodd. New Swedish National Costume, honouring the Swedish Royal Family & the traditional Swedish Folk Dress.

Inspired by the orginal & historic design of King Gustav III, which sa first introduced in 1778. Together with the Fashion Design students of Drottning Blanka high school, we recycled 30 meters of last year´s festival´s flags and transformed them into a Royal Cape.

Deepest gratitude to The Gothenburg Culture Festival ( Göteborgs Kulturkalas) for the generous support & providing the platform to present the design as part of a National Culture Festival in Sweden!

It is now official!!
Happy to be the first to reveal Swedens national Costume for Miss Universe 2015!
Miss Universe Sweden 2015 - Paulina Brodd will present Aviad Arik Hermans new creation for the competition. There has even been a special collaboration with the Fashion Design students from Drottning Blankas Gymnasieskola in Göteborg.

Come and see the event take place at the opening of Gothenburg Culture Festival - Göteborgs kulturkalas, on Thuesday, August 11th at 17.50 on the main stage in Götaplatsen. Free & Open to the public, you are all invited!

Congratulations to our newly crowned MISS UNIVERSE SWEDEN 2015 - Paulina Brodd

This year i also had the pleasure to be a jury member, invited by our national director - Joakim Granberg, who combined business & pleasure to celebrate his 50th birthday on this glamorous occasion. It surely was festive and exiting. Grattis Joakim !

Lots of thought, creativity, time ,resources and efforts are already invested into Paulina´s new national costume & Evening gown for the upcoming 64th annual Miss Universe pageant.

My commitment is to have an original, sensational appearance for Sweden.
